Which games?

Well it's been awhile sinse ive lasted visited these forums.. but i was thinking about trying some new games. i have a 2 year old computer that i built. so i doubt ill be able to run any new games good at all. but what games do you think i should try? i have a 2600 AMD athlon with ONLY 512mb ram and a Evga NVidia 6600 GT 128mb video card. i was thinking about HL2. but what other games that are good to get?

If you like RTS get Dawn of War or GUild Wars (RPG), it is fun, graphically brilliant (with low min specs) and you don't need to invest your life into it.

Rome: Total War is also great. I ran it on a P4 2.4ghz w/ 512 RAM and a 9200 SE on low settings (got a little choppy in battles, but not severly)

You should be able to run most games pretty well. Your rigs just as good as mine. HL2 runs beautifully on my box as well as Doom3.

Farcry and Doom3 are also 2 other good suggestions

If you can overclock a bit on that PC, it still has alot of life left
