Hey guys.

I have a geforce fx 5500 graphics card running on Windows XP. My niece LOVES Spongebob Quarepants and I recently borrowed a game called "Spongebob Squarepants Operation Crabby Patty" from a buddy for her to play when she is here.

It turns out that the game was made in 2001 and needs these specs to run:

windows 95/98/ME

8x cd-rom

videocard with 8-bit capable graphics (1000 colors) and at least 2 MB memory (HAHA)

Pentium 233 MHZ

ect...

Well, I turn the game on and its just a black screen. i can hear the sounds and if I move the mouse I can hear it OBVOOISLY scrolling over the games menus. i just cannot get it to run properly.

I have used the "compatability" options and that hasnt helped either.

Is there a way to make my 5500 work in 8bit mode!?! Kinda like the slowdown DOS programs that are out there to let new systems run old DOS games.

Thanks for any help!
