Actually Frames Per Second can be in any game. It even is in movies. A smooth flowing movie has 24 Frames Per Second so you always want all of you games to run at more then 24 frames per second. Also the eye can not really distinguish the difference between any frames per second higher then 24 and when games or movies run at less then 24 then they will appear to be laggy.
