Flight simulator X.. very SLOW.. need some help please

hey guys I have problems with my computer and I dont know why... I just started to play Flight simulator X and its very very slow... I dont know why because I have a good computer... here is everything I have on my comptuer...

System:
Microsoft windows XP Professional with service pack 2

Intel pentium 4 CPU 3.4GHz overclock to 3.75GHz.
3.00GB or Ram

Video card: ATI1900XTX

I mean 3.00 GB of ram is a lot!... but it still lags during the game and lags very very much.. I dont know why? any advised would help please... thank

The reviews that I've read so far say that it runs really slow on even the best of setups. However, I have the demo and it screams at full settings for me. :/

I've got an AMD FX-55, 7900GTX and 2 gigs of ram.

Cdub89, when you say it runs great on your PC, what FPS are you getting at what settings?

Cause I'm getting about 30FPS at 1280x1024, medium to low settings, and my PC kind whips your's....

I couldnt tell ya what fps im getting i just installed the game and ran it not sure what the settings are i will let ya know when i get the cd back though im letting a friend borrow it.
