You guyse seem to know whatt ur talkin about. Im running the deluxe version of FSX. I get about 17 fps on settings turned on medium high. I thought i had a pretty decent computer:

AMD ATHLON 64 Dual Core X2 4800+
ASUS A8N32 SLI MOBO
TWIN GEFORCE 7600GT OC IN SLI MODE
2GB OF RAM
320 GB SATA HARD DISK

ANY SUGGESTIONS?

Its all about CPU. My only suggestion is turn off auto gen/put it on lower settings.

If you are confident the only way to really improve the FPS is to overclock.

just for the record, 2.4 to 3.1 on my e6600 showed a very small improvment of fps (2-4). I think my fps comes from my vid cards
