FEAR Problem

In the beginning of the game when you jump over the cart in the hall and walk straight where the tiles start coming off the wall. The game freezes here everytime and locks up the system. Is anyone else have/had this problem?? I have updated to version 1.03 as well.

Do you have anything overclocked? If so, have you checked to see if its stable? I had a similar problem in bf2 when my oc on the cpu wasnt stable, it was lock up the entire computer and make me restart.

No nothing is overclocked right now.

Uninstall, and then reinstall it but use an older patch like the 1.01 patch.

No matter what I do FEAR freezes in the same F****ing place. I am getting P***ed. Anything else to try??

I finally got passed the troubled spot, instead of walking into it I jumped over it and I was able to avoid the game freezing. Wierd huh.

Fear has some crazy stuff, at one point I had to jump and climb a ladder, if I just walked up to it the game would crash.
