Farcry Problems

So, I have my computer, my Compaq with 1 GB of ram, and a 128 integrated Mirage video card, and I install farcry. Everything is fine until I hit the part where the sand is-because there is no sand, or ground for that matter- Everything below me is white, I can see trees, vehicles other people, and my gun, but no sand.

Anyone have any ideas as to what that could be? My comp runs jedi academy and bf vietnam fine... but not this.

Also, if I were to replace my video card with a better one, is it difficult to install? I heard that when you have integrated graphics it gets complicated to turn them off.

Find the drives for that video card and update them.

I have no experience with that type so you will have to do a google search.

As far as putting a new graphics card in, chances are, Compaq made the computer non-upgradable. Meaning, there are no free slots or the technology in the slots is older than the integrated card.

Since you're into gaming, I'd strongly recommend upgrading your integrated vid card, if possible.

Apply the latest farcry patch if you haven't already...think it's like patch 1.3 or something, should fix it
