I heard there will be a gts and gtx.
I might be wrong on this so someone could back me up or correct me on this...

The gtx is suppose to be more than 2 times better than the 8800 gtx. So they wont be a need for SLI.
And for the gts....my guess it will be atleast 1.5 times better than the 8800gts.
I dont remember where i found this article...google is always there.

SLI is over rated or pointless. You dont really get all the performance your suppose to. Might as well spend the extra money and get the top card.

I see ppl getting SLi for the 8800 gts when you could just get the ultra or gtx and still do good.

IMO its not worth it.

well check the benchmarks...it speaks for it self.
The only reason ppl get them because its cheaper than the 8800 series and that it can play DX10.
But a 7600gt can beat it easily.
And so can my 7900gs, which is cheaper.

8600 series are not bad at all. But for the same price of 8600GT you can get 7900GS

7900 hands down.

yeh 7900gs, they're cheaper and and WAY better than the 8600gt.
The only con is that its dx9.
But honestly, if you want dx 10, you have to atleast get the 8800gts. The 8600 will not be good for any next gen game.
