Fallout: New Vegas system requirments

If you haven't herd them, here they are:

I was half-expecting to weep after reading this but these are pretty low bare minimals.

You have to take system requirements with a grain of salt anyways. If its running on the same engine as before then you can rest assured that those requirements are for low settings to say the least.

the engine is really old and adaptive. means i should be able to play it on low/med settings on a 6600gt lol.

The engine is based off Oblivions engine which wont run all that great on a 6600GT itself.

If it's oblivions engine than my lappy won't have a problem on higher settings I was actually expecting a new engine... I wonder if elder scrolls 5 will get one.

They're wrong. Well atleast somethings wrong.

The game runs diabolically bad on my PC. And i'm not the only one, it seems pretty much anyone with a nvidia card has the game running terribley. There are one or two things to improve things a bit, but nothing concrete. Just to put the performance into context, Crysis runs better on high settings than this does on medium.

I'm waiting for a patch, and i want it quick.

I run completley maxed out and the only problem I have is some stuttering sometimes in high explosion areas.
