Well, this is what i get:
On these settings:
No hitches, no problems, just silky smooth. I realized a major problem regarding texture detail on any given map at any given time.
I noticed serious hitching and pausing when i played at the same settings as shown except with Max Texture quality. so i put everything on the lowest except for texture quality (Maximum) resolution, and AA (1024x768 2xAA). F.E.A.R was STILL hitching! It was using 1.25GB of RAM with EVERYTING on the lowest except for resolution, texture quality, and AA. it was absurd! so i put everyting else to the settings listed above, but put texture quality to Medium. now, it usually uses below 850MB of RAM instead of 1.25 if i simply put the texture quality to Maximum and with the texture quality on medium, i get no hitching whatsoever. Talk about bad code.
