Hello, everyone. I'm a total tech virgin and I'm having a real problem running the Dominion Wars game. It installed with no problems, but when I try to run it I receive an error message which tells me ddraw cannot be created during enumeration.
I've tried everything I can think of to get around this. I've uninstalled and reinstalled several times; I've updated my video driver; I've checked DXdiag; I've done a diagnostic start-up; I've checked for device conflicts. At this point I'm totally stumped. I know it must be something simple but I just can't pin it down.
I'm using a Compaq Armada 7800 with Windows 98SE, Explorer 5, DirectX 9, and a S3ViRGE/MX video card with the latest driver made for it.
Please help!!
