Delta Sector Mod For the original FarCry.....They did a great job with this.

It is very hard to spot the enemy....there are leaves flying around....fog and a dense forrest.

It shows what the original Crytek engine is capable of and just how good of an engine it was and still is today.

You need the original FarCry installed and patched to version 1.4
then install the Delta sector mod....then install the 1.1 patch for the Delta Sector Mod.

I dont know how long or how many missions that there are....but it has been fun so far and it is free.

i dunno..i don't think it looks any better than far cry did :\

i mean it looks good..but the weapons do seem kind of rough looking and not as good as they did in the game. But it seems like it'd be a good mod..especially since it's free (would like to know how many missions there are..and what's the story line?)

Yeah it would be cool if they did a similar mod for FarCry 2, then I might actually play through it. I got so bored of it after a few hours. Pretty graphics but way too repetitive.

I am currently playing thru FarCry again....great game.....Here are some screenshots to compare...I have yet to see any fog, or debrie or leaves flying around in FarCry.

The Delta sector mod is VERY Hard, as you can't see the enemy until you are right on top of them!

I am not sure what it is.......I have HDR working now.....but IMO....it is way over done for this game.

your water just seems off to me...it's been awhile since I played so it could be showing it's age by now...just doesn't look as good as it used to.

Anyway it goes though, the before/after pics do look a lot better.
