day of defeat internet server problems

arg. i just bought day of defeat RETAIL v1.0, .......how do i create an internet server? cuz on my menu, i have a create game or find game. i click create and it just makes a lan game. probably by default. can u only create internet servers using half life and the d-load version of dod? how do i make it work?!?!

well the manual says nothing and as for the patches...well it's already v.10 and i got the 1.0b server patch and it messed up my dod---i couldnt load it. so i had to reinstall. and i looked at that planet hl thing and it was talking about the halflife + dod d-loaded version. not the dod retail. like i know in half life u can go to internet or LAN games, in mine i can choose to find or create game. (well plus options but other than that it's it). i can only do local games cuz that's what it does when i click create game. it's wierd. plz help.

did u try to download an upgrade for it

what upgrades? the only one i have seen is the 1.0. but i already have 1.0. the retail version i have is 1.0
