CS:S Surf map help

whenever i join a surf server (ive tried many different ones)
i get a ping of 200 or more. If i join a server thats on any other map, like dust2 or office etc. , i get a ping of 20. please help.

those surf servers must be far away and the other servers must be close to you if the pings are like that.

Or you might be running something in the backround.

hmm.. look here, they have some good servers
Look for the ones at the top of the list

Hopefully u know how to add servers using the IP in favorites
