Cs:s Fps

I just wanted to see how I compared to others who play the game. How many FPS do you get? With my 5500, I get 20-30 with it jumping up to 40 every once in a while. I have all the video settings on medium, AA turned off, and thr trillinear filtering thingy. COuld you post your video settings and your FPS please? Again, it's just so I can see how I compare to others with my crappy 5500.

I get 60 constant FPS
Settings:High
HDR:Everything
AA: Off
AF: 4x
Resolution:1024*768

Something you can do is turn off trilinerfiltering, and turn HDR off if you have it on.

Lower the Resolution down to 800*600

A little more than 90FPS I think in the stress test, with 4xAA, 16xAF, and everything else max except vertical sync which is of, at 1024x768.

Powerslave 01-07-2006 05:02 PM

Max settings 80 fps

I lowerered the resolution to 800*600. I'll try turning off the trillinear like you said and HDR (whatever that is) if it's on.

Racer I'm in the same boat as you , however Im about to upgrade. My suggestion is to ditch the celeron. They are useless pieces of crap, and shouldnt be used for gaming whatsoever. I have one and it sucks. O yea and graphics card.

But mostly Celeron. <--- :(

Sprooty 01-09-2006 06:47 AM

180.3 FPS in the stress test.
