So i've recently had the impulse to start playing CSS again and when ive been playing after ~20 mins Ive had it freeze a few times and give me a BSOD once. Now, none of my other games have frozen or gave me BSODs with my overclock, stable while running orthos, so I underclocked my overclock a bit aswell as my graphics overclock. Still had it freeze again.
Thoughts as to whats causing it?

Im not at my desktop anymore, but when I left my dorm I had CSS re-downloading on steam.

Sounds weird, i can't think to be honest. Maybe your GPU is overheating, but i don't see why it would and not in any other game. Although i think if you remove the FPS limiter it can cause the GPU to go crazy and get very hot - might be worth a look. Set up your PC to pause on BSOD and write down the error code if it does it again, too.

cs:s isn't very gpu intensive, more cpu, so i'd look to your cpu or your ram with this issue. bring everything back to stock and see if that helps.

Everything at stock I still had the game freeze within ten minutes of playing.
Ill try setting the fps limiter
