I know alot of people have problems running D3D in cs 1.6, i do as well but I run it in opengl. Opengl is capped at 60 fps no matter what, cant override it with fps_max. Also, i cant get any anti aliasing on it. Anyone know of a fix for the d3d where it artofacts almost everything and crashes all the time? Or how i can force AA on opengl?

Im getting 60, thats low for cs 1.6, also, D3D looks better then open gl, and i want AA.

if FPS is capped at 60 or 70 and won't go above but goes right up to -- take Vertical Sync off in your graphic card setup menu.

its already off, Im pretty sure opengl might be capped at 60, or the game is forcing vsync even though my nvidia settings have it forced off.

Ok, i fixed anti aliasing in openGL, I also figured out that vsync is holding back my framerate. It is set to force off in my nvidia control panel settings, and in all other games it stays off, but cs 1.6, no.
