We're pleased to be able to invite you to the Crysis Wars trial weekend taking place from Friday, Oct 10 to Sunday, Oct 12! All you need to do is be a registered member of MyCrysis in order to receive all the information you'll need to take part, there's still 4 days to sign up so make sure you don't miss out!


If you already own and play Crysis Wars, this weekend will be a fantastic opportunity for you to meet new players and make new friends. There will also be an opportunity for you to play against Crysis Wars team members! Will you be able to beat us at our own game? Let's meet online this Friday, and show us your skills!


If you don't own Crysis Wars, this is a unique occasion for you to download the FULL game with its 3 game modes and 21 maps. As soon as your download is over, you will be able to play on LAN with your friends for free. Once the weekend arrives, you will receive a unique CDKey so that you can play online for free during the entire weekend!

How does it Work?
You will be able to download the complete Crysis Wars game, and install it on your computer for free. From then on, you will be able to play on LAN with your friends, without any time limitation. This is the best opportunity to check the gameplay, adjust the settings to your fitting (from best performance to best visuals), and train with your friends on LAN, in preparation for the online weekend.
You will not be able to connect online during this time.

This Friday October 10th, starting at 6pm CET, a new mail will be sent to you with the link to a MyCrysis page where you will be able to retrieve your unique demo CDKey for the online weekend. This demo CDKey will only be valid for your MyCrysis account, and will allow you to play online for the whole weekend. By the end of the weekend, your demo CDKey will be deactivated and you will have to purchase the game to keep playing online.

Q: When does the trial week-end take place?
A: You can start downloading the game on Monday, Oct 6. You are able to play online from Friday, Oct 10 to Sunday, Oct 12.

Q: How can I participate?

Q: If I already bought the game, what's the interest?
A: You will see more people online this week-end, and will be able to make new friends. There will be a play session against the Crysis Wars developers on Friday night. Make sure that you are there!

Q: If I already bought the game, can I give my demo CDKey to a friend?
A: Yes, if you don't need a demo CDKey to play the game, you can share it with a friend of yours.

Q: Can I download the game in advance?
A: Yes, you have 5 days to download the game from your favorite download site.

Q: Can I really play LAN for free?
A: Yes, you are allowed to install the game on as many machines as you want. As soon as you have enabled the online activation, you are able to play on LAN for as long as you wish.

Q: Can I play online without a CDKey?
A: No, you can't play online without a CDKey.

Q: How can I get a CDKey?
A: Either you can use the demo CDKey sent to you to play online during the trial week-end, or you need to purchase Crysis: Warhead in order to have a key and play online.

I was able to get a key and I didn't registered till today (the 10th). I would assume it works but I'll have to see.

Whaaaat. I hope the guy mixed up the recommended with minimum on the cpu part. Thats crazily high. I can't find anywhere that lists just Crysis Wars requirements, they all only say Crysis Warhead requirement and I don't see why online cpu requirement would be so much higher. Everything else in that list is identical to Crysis Warhead requirements.

^^ That minimum cpu has to be wrong. My brother is running Crysis wars on a athlon x2 5200+ that is significantly slower than a E7300 without any problems.

What I find funny is how the game was giving me really low fps on low settings. But on Best Visuals I get higher more stable fps. Figure that one out

And do you guys see lasers on the claymores? Someone said they do and thats how you know how far the range is. I've been trying to figure out how they work since me and another guy set a couple at a door and a guy just walked right over them with no effect.

I don't see any visual graphic lasers on the claymores ( although there is in COD4 ), pretty much they work if an enemy approaches from the direction opposite of what the blue arrow on them points at they will explode, which means that perhaps if he approaches from the side they won't explode

2. Is there a way to take out VTOLs if your on foot. I know the missle launcher will but its slow and the VTOLs are always lag skiping. Seems like every other game somebody is just bunker camping with a VTOL.

3. Is there a easy way to spot stealthed guys or are people just cheating? I keep getting killed while stealth and being perfectly still even when people drive past me in vehicles. Does the radar thing detect stealth and does it work when your driving?

4. Does anybody use the prototype factory weapons? I never see anybody use them except for the end game TAC. Are they weak or over powered or what?

the factory wepons are preaty good but cost about as much as a tank so we dont usualy buy them. also rockets are abotu as good as it gets unless you have an aa tank. or small tank with rockets. it only takes 3 shots to take it out anyway. for such a realistic game i was dissapointed to not see explosive impact effects on most vehicled, like the jeeps and what not move if shot, but shooting a chopper or vtol with a rockets, the thign doesnt budge teh pilot should try to regain control/ possibly force them to crash, would be so much more fun and realistic. what bugs me the most is that is incorperated in the single player youshoout a chopper and it is moved by the impact.
