heh... i just preordered crysis on EA, and they sa
id u get instant access to the beta, but i didn't get anything. i went the forums, and apparently loads of people are getting angry because they werent given any access to the beta.

false advertising, anyone?

Oh, it's jsut Intel's special purchase program for retail employees. I used to work for CCity so I still have access to the site. Just found out that they verify employment before letting you purchase through them. I should be getting a job in the field again very shortly so hopefully I can still participate.

Last year, they had a C2D 6300 ($210 alone), Intel mobo ($129 alone) and Vista Ultimate OEM ($200 alone i think) all for $200 including shipping. This yera they're doing a quad core 6700 (i think), mobo, and vista home premium. Not sure of the price but it should still be a massive discount.
