well i got the patch to work...did some reading.
Since a lot of ppl delete the trrailers and use config files...thats prolly why it didnt work.
I had to uninstall the game and then reinstall and then apply patch and now it works.

hope this works for everyone else.

Oh, I knew the patch wouldn't work with custom settings, thats whay I said i need to reinstall.

I got the patch to work just fine... The best part about it IMO is now in multiplayer when you shoot and your gun is equipped with a silencer, you don't show up on the map. Makes you that much harder to find, and the AA's are way more effective against heli's and VTOL's.

Yeah, even the 1.1 patch wouldn't install if you removed intro videos or had any modified files.

Looks like they fixed A LOT of stuff. A lot of that stuff I have seen many times in game and I'm glad some of it's getting fixed.
