counter strike source and cod2 problems

ive been getting problems in CSS and cod2 and no other games my computer will play for like an hour then start beeping at me threw the head set and its a constant beeping every 2 sec ive done everything i can ive updated the sound driver ive disables windows sounds ive even disabled the bios temp beeps and it still does it can someone please help me im about to go crazy.

specs:
abit at8 32x
kingson 1gig ram
ati x1600xt 256
amd 3800+ x2 processor

try the hardware forums, i don't think this is a game problem. Maybe somethings shorting...
