conversion?

i am going to ask a question that has probably been asked before by someone else, how do i convert a "rm" file to a file that i can burn on a DVD? i know that there is probably an easy way to do it but i am a computer newbie. any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks.

Well, for starters, shouldn't this be in the software forum?

Anyway, all you need to do is conver the file to an AVI (or whatever format your DVD player can read) and then burn that to a DVD.
