Console games on Monitor?

I am interested in buying a new LCD Monitor and I have heard it is best to search for under 5ms response time for Gaming. I also heard you can hook your ps2 or wii etc to your Moniter acting like the TV. What specefications would I be looking at to confirm if the Monitor can support the console cables?

RCA Connections, or HDTV (Which I believe RCA can be converted to).

There are maybe some DVI connections for consoles (I could have sworn I heard about them, but I've never seen them). I'm sure someone else can tell you.

I have a tv tuner and you are able to plug the playstation in with av plugs

i got a VGA cable for my xbox 360, so now my comp is plugged in via DVI and xbox in VGA in my 22" widescreen. just press a button on the side to switch between them =D
