Updated my version of COD4 to v1.3 this morning.
No Problems.
But when i went to install patch v1.4
it said "Setup couldnt find a valid installation of COD4, Please install COD4 to install this patch"
then i click ok, then it says
"couldnt find a valid CD-key"
Im using a retail copy, and i had no trouble updating the game on Windows XP, and i currently have Vista Ultimate 32bit.
It says i could solve the issue by going to multiplayer options and re-typing the CD-key there.
Did that, nothing changed.
Looked around the Forums a bit,
Some talk about the updater not looking for COD4 in the right directory??
or something about the registery.
Anyone know what i can do to solve the issue?
