COD2 problems

ok, this is what happenes when i am playing COD2, at max settings, after awhile the computer just shuts down, whithout even a warning.

maybe something is overheating. Do u overclock anything?

if it helps any i built the computer myself, and all of the parts are from newegg.com.

i'm not sure but i think it does the same thing with my other newer games

Make sure you have the latest drivers for everything. Also, I think this game really is better on Pentium machines. It shouldn't be crashing like that though. Other than drivers, I would set your settings down a little. Try DX7 rendering method. Install the patch.

It sounds like your systems getting too hot.

Mine does that sometimes

yea download latest patches and drivers. if that doesnt work try reinstalling the game.

ok, i downloaded the latest drivers and the computer still shut down, any suggestions.
