hey all.
I tried to run CoD4 with full graphics on multiplayer and I was wondering if someone had a build that could do it with more than 30-20 fps (in herbs with smoke and 10 people on screen)

What I have is:
AMd athlon X2 4200+
Geforce 7950 gx2 (512mbX2)
4 gig of ram (Kingston valueram)
Asus a8n-e

If you need more infos just tell me I'll post them. I know my ram is not top of of the top but eh... bought this thing year ago :p
So yeah, anyone who runs it at full graphs with 40-50 fps in stress times would be kind to post his build.
Thanks,
A guy who hates fps on 360 ;)

You can' max graphics on your machine... hmm, I think it is your cpu.

A man by the name of KMAN can do it I think..

He has a 8800gts. and a e6850 with 2 gigs of ram if I remember correctle.

hm.... so there's no way for me to max it out with any other 939 processor...
If I had to upgrabe my MB, what socket should I go with? AM2? and then whihc processor?

HMMMM....

YES...it is possible with MAXED out settings, seeing as I run between 40-97 frames a second.

My build:

GIGABYTE GA-M57SLI-S4 AM2 NVIDIA nForce 570 SLI
AMD Athlon 64 X2 6000+ Windsor 3.0GHz
CORSAIR XMS2 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (4GB TOTAL)
CORSAIR CMPSU-620HX ATX12V 620W PSU (3 12v Rails)
Western Digital Caviar 250GB 7200 RPM 16MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb
Western Digital Caviar 160GB 7200 RPM 8MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb
Thermaltake Armor Series Black Full Tower Case w/ 25CM Fan
PNY GeForce 8800GTS 640MB 320-bit GDDR3

Go to the "building and buying section for high performance PC's" at the top of the main forum index.

I don't see a maxed graphics on 939. I have 939 and just bought one of the only dual-cores left (x2 3800) THere is no way I could do it.

Is your cpu overclocked at all? My socket 939 x2 3800 in a asus A8n-e can get up to 2.8ghz no problem and since I think its my motherboard that limits me the extra multiplier of your cpu might let you get to 3ghz.
