Civilization IV

Anyone here play it? Thinking of getting it, it looks cool. But now there's some new version called "Civ IV: Colonization". What's the difference in terms of storyline and gameplay? Which would be more fun for a new player? I think Colonization has to do with European empires, and the original starts in the stone age or something? I like the European empire idea, because I know a good amount about the time period.

Civ4 is the most addicting game ever. If you decide to play it go with the Beyond the Sword expansion. As far as Colonization, I think it's just a remake of the old 1994 game. Sid is a genius when it comes to making games and Civ4 takes the cake.
