Chaos Theory SM3.0 question

When I configure my graphics in Splinter Cell Chaos Theory I can choose between SM2.0 or SM3.0. However, when I select 3.0 it disables the ability to set my Antialiasing. My question is this...which would be better, SM2.0 with AA turned up, or SM3.0 with no AA options enabled?

Turn off HDR rendering and you can turn up AA. AA and HDR are not compatable in this game.

So HDR turned off allows enabled AA. Which would be better? HDR off and AA at 4x seems to look better, but the game is so dark it's hard to tell.

I like HDR, so i run it at 1280x1024 HDR full. but 1280x1024 no HDR and 2xAA is ok too, i guess. I just like to take advantage of SM 3.0 on my 6800.
