cd rom problems?

whenever i install games on CD, i put the game installation disc in either my cdrw or dvd rom, when install in half way, the window always said this:

"App: exec
E:\data2.cab
data error(redundancy check)"

when i try to install vice city, it's like these, when i try to install need for speed, it's like these (it said the track 9 on the cd 's error) and when i install jedi knight II, it's like these again..

i dun hav internet in my winxp and it didn't update yet, but is it the games had to install in cd rom only or i hav to update my window?

That probably means your .cab file is corrupt.

you can try ripping the CDs to your HDD, but i dont know how successful thatll be, if you have your OS install disc, try upgrading or repairing
