That explains the video cards, but it doesn't explain the two i7's and the 64gb of ram. I know all that ram is definitely being wasted if it is just for Crysis, and I do believe Crysis isn't that cpu dependent that it would need 2 i7s.
I do a lot of video editing and 3d rendering which the i7's and ram are good for. On top of that it runs a database server, sql server, outlook server, web server and backup server. So all the power is put to good use.
I hate crysis. I wish it had never been. Its basically the complete epitome of mediocrity and the only reason its still talked about is because its the pop music of benchmarking.
I've got a skulltrail board with 2 i7's, and it's got 4 pci-e slots so i've got 4 4870x2's, 3 30" Mac Cinema Displays, 64gb of ddr2 ram, 5 256gb ssd's in raid 5, and 2 1.5kw psu's.
