Thanks guys. Yeah I knew faster numbers don't mean a better card. I'll look for another card. Will COD4 run well on my current setup?

No, geforce 6600 can run that game

My older computer has a vanilla 6600 and P4 3.2GHz, and it runs COD4 very well at 800 x 600, low settings

world at war is more demanding than cod4...even made my 8800GT struggle on max settings which didnt cod4 didnt.

Can you guys recommend me some good FPS' which will run smoothly (or atleast smoothly at minimum graphic settings) in my current setup?

I think Prey and Farcry and Half Life 2 would. Their older games so I think they will run. Basically just look for some games that have been out for a little while.

Or go really old and check out Jedi Outcast and Jedi Academy and the multiplayer of Command and Conquer Renegade and Counter Strike.
