why is mine running slow? I know it has to do w/ issues concerning my router.. i set the ports and it is still running slow. i am using a linksys bsf.. 41 model. dont really know it. what else am i missing.. the gameplay is fine! it's just downloading updates that take long suggestions?

Most of the time I have found that the reason why the downloader takes forever is because of firewalls.

kewll i replaced my router from a linksys bfr model to the netgear wireless, and i had no issues whatsoever w/ dl the patch and i didnt even configure anything

why did you replace it, could have just changed the firewall settings

same thing is happening again.. :/ supposedly i forwarded all the necessary ports but im still having issues.. Im trying to locate the firwall inorder to review what needs to be done. So far i seem to have set some not all of the ports in the firewalls log but my downloader is still sloww.

any other ideas?

Try getting the patches from a different source? Say like gamespot they have it all and it downloads pretty well.
