Default Bioshock Performance

Is anyone playing this on a Q6600 and 8800GTS? I'm curious how it's running since I'm finishing building this weekend and then buying the game.

I have played it on a 3200+ 8600gt 1 gig ram and it ran really well, so i'm assuming that your computer will have no problem what so ever

Your computer should be able to max out every setting and get a good framerate.
People with 7950s are playing it on high settings.

Im not sure about DX10 though

I wasn't really worried about it playing or anything. I was just curious what people's frame's and stats were and such. I don't know if it's dx10 or not either.

I have a Q6600 and X1950PRO, and I play it maxed out on 1680 x 1050, in DX9 mode, with acceptable frame rates. About the 25-35 range.

Game seems to be optimized for the pc very well IMO.

With some very minor tweaks this will be a great game for along time.

I would like to see these things yet.
1. Allow you to walk and not have to run all the time.
2. Allow you to lean
3. I wish you were not cut off of certain areas with invisible borders or something like a small railing that you should be able to jump over....however I can live with that....no big deal.
4. Allow the community to have the EDITOR :-)

I am really diggin this game....best game for me in quite some time....twisted...really, really twisted!

E6600 with 8800GTX runs about 50-60 on average, goes higher in some areas and a little lower in others. This is on max settings @ 1600x1200 resolution.
