As a storytelling vehicle, there is no doubt that BioShock 2 makes a compelling experience. But in the graphical splendor department, we were definitely left wanting. Going into this evaluation, we knew that it used the same graphics engine, so we weren't expecting BioShock 2 to match Crysis, but we were certainly hoping it would at least exceed the first BioShock from 2007. Unfortunately, we were disappointed there.
