one of the world records used a custom made 1350W psu because none of the psu's that were available in stores were powerful enough for them!

256 MB isn't even used nowadays. When 512 MB becomes standard, this video card becomes outdated and you'll have to buy another video card with 512 MB that has newer features.

I think this 512MB video card thing is plain stupid. Its all a marketting gimic, and you see a VERY small peformance increase, by that I mean like 2-3 fps, even in Doom 3, the game thats supposed to be made for 512MB. Its definately not worth almost twice the price that both ATI and Nvidia are charging for their 512MB versions.

This is Thresh, im borrowing a friends account, long story. Play Everquest 2 on max graphics, dont care what kind of system you have, unless you have that card..... its not playable. Im not kidding download the trial if you don't belive me, those graphics are better than anything ive seen, even unreal 3. So yes, if you play EQ2 this card will benefit you.

bah look at that first reviewer "my first was a 6800GT 256" and upgraded from that to an Ultra 512mb? What a waste of money
