I've been deciding whether i should quit WoW and get back into bf2, or go and buy 2142, my only problem is i know how hardware heavy bf2 is.

Is 2142 the same way? (my system is in my sig)

edit: i forgot, i put another gig of ram in my system (2gb g.skill)

Your system, based on your sig, would play BF2142 very well.

But, if you haven't played the 2142 Demo yet, i'd suggest giving it a try before you decide to buy the full version. If you're anything like me, you'll be greatly disappointed.

Your setup is slightly better than mine (better CPU). I play the tar outa BF2.

man. my system is laggier on 2142 than on bf2, and i have bad computer amd athlon 64 3000+ and a crappy 128MB 6600GS :| ur lucky tho, i wish i wouldve taken back my video card and got the 7800GT when i had the chance

I do too. The only thing I'm not able to do is turn up all the extra bells and whistles

Anyways, thanks for the help, i'd hate to be disappointed by 2142 because, aside from some of the annoying subtleties, BF2 was one of my favorite games of all time

(now i just need to find some room to put my Joystick since i have changed the desk i used.)
