BF2 Won't start.

I installed BF2, and then the patches, and when I go to play it, the black loading scree comes up but then quits to the desktop with now sign of me having even clicked on the icon. I have all of the updates for my computer (drivers and whatnot) the installation went flawlessy and I can play other games just fine. This game has worked for me without a hitch the past few months.

Wow, this game uses 800-1000 mbs of ram.....maybe thats the issue?

Try reinstalling the patch, reboot and try again...

But u say u have played this game already with that setup?

Make sure all background programs are off before loading...

Oops, that's not my PC. My PC has:

1GB PC 3200
256mb 6800 GT
60 GB HDD
AMD Athlon 3000+ 64-bit

as vaderpro said it is a RAM hog all right i thought Norton was worse untill i heard this i my unkle said that he has no issues with his 6800 GT 256MB but he does gave 2GB DDR2 Ram i dont know if that will help by upgrading the ram but i think it should ..

Make sure you have the latest graphcis drivers
