BF2 Quits whenever I start.

Back to the desktop. Sometimes the entire computer restarts. It's kinda ****ing me off.

My specs run it just fine. I used to play all the time. Not on my mac.

Might be obivious but, have you install all the lastest patches? HAve you tried uninstalling and reinstalling from scratch, then installing all patches?

Couple things to try:

First, if you have re-named your battlefield executable (could be for a few reasons), change it back.

Also, use the FULL patch. The incremental has been buggy to alot of people.

When in doubt, uninstall, reinstall, use full patch

Make sure all drivers are updated.
