bf2 cd-key recover help

i know this is a long shot, but is there anyway to recover the bf2 cd-key after an unistal on the computer?

i lost the booklet and don't really feel like buying another one.

Not that I could find. The serial is encrypted.

alright well actually i just did a system restore and i got the sub directory "ergc" back with a long series of numbers and letters. and from what i hear the key is supposed to be in there. but i have no idea where in the series.
