bf1942 and call of duty

ok i know i am getting call of duty for sure but i wanted to know what the single player experience is in bf1942 cause all i hear about is the multiplayer and i don't have enough people to play it around here on a network so i need to know if the single player game is any good

There pretty much is no single player in BF 1942, all you do is just play against some dumb bots, and capture flags. Gets pretty boring after about an hour.
