I bought it for cheap thrills until I could afford BF2 and a setup that can actually handle it well. I have it right now but am a bit afraid to open it cuz I'm not entirely sure if my system can handle it all that well.

I have a P4 clocked @ 1.6 Ghz, 512 MB of SDRAM clocked @ 100 Mhz and an OCed 256MB Sapphire 9600XT AGP x8 (in AGP x4 slot) (550/640)

I wanna play this game extremely well. To at least pass the 40 FPS mark. Anything lower wouldn't be worth it. I don't trust the "minimum requirments" at all.

Should I open it up? (Can't return it if it's open)

If anything, I think the SDRAM will set me back a lot.

i would trust the minimum requirments. Worse comes to worse you sell it on Ebay or something.

I played it with a p4 2.4ghz, 512MB, and a Radeon 9200 SE. It wasnt perfect, but it was playable. Id say around 35-45 FPS. You should be able to play it no problem

I ran vietnam fine on 32 MB geforce 2, AMD athlon 2000+ (1.66 ghz) and 512 MB pc2100 ddr. Barely ever lagged. Obviously it wasnt set on high though. And no aa.
