Battlefield 2142 1.01 Patch

EA sends along the first Battlefield 2142 patch, updating the newly released multiplayer shooter to version 1.01. This patch fixes a client side crash issue when playing the Titan Mode. Updated unranked server files for Windows and Linux are available as well.

lol it is pretty buggy... with the transport helis u can glitch into alot of stuff with escape pods... it will eject u inside walls and stuff im sure EA will realize that "hey, maybe we should try and fix our games rather than add new buggier features eg. Car drops in bf2 = hotel glitch.

saw this article about having to maybe uninstall a Microsoft update for the patch to work:

I also remember that request being in the demo, which I find very odd indeed why a game has trouble with Microsoft critical updates. I would think its just sloppy coding on EA/DICE. Another reason not to buy or play bf2142.

2142 has the potential to be the biggest flop as of late bc

1) EA
2) a mod that costs $50
3) buggy as all get out
4) includes spyware

BUT it won't be a flop bc people are going to buy it no matter what!!

Well it is still a good game if u have an execpionally good computer as for all the errors its understandable because first of all look at the amount of people who can play in one game!look at the size of the maps!its a huge game!
