can i use agp 8X based graphics card on my max agp 4X mainboard?
what the risks?
can it damage my PC? thanks

anyway, what is the best kind of card i can use for my Pentium III 733 based PC with 192 MB SDRAM, AX3S-Pro Mainboard? ATI or NVIDIA chip cards? The brands and type? I have to know these for cost efficiency and nice gaming performance for my PC.

Personally i would not go any further for than a GF 5 series. Any thing more would be a waste of money as game that would take true advantage of a GF 6 series requires at least a 1800 CPU.

get a fx5500. it isnt bad considering what your options are. i had a p3 that broke a while ago that was running the 5500 with 256mb. it worked out great.
