9800GX2 Vs. Non-SLI supported games?

Since the 9800GX2 is effectively 2 8800GTS's on the same card, in SLI, how will it work on games that are apparently do not support SLI, like crysis. Will it only perform as well as a single 8800GTS?

You mean as crappy as a 512? Crysis in SLI gts512 wont even let me play very high @ 1920x1200, screw crysis and the horse they rode in on

he already did that, and gained 0 FPS, Nosboost did the same with two 8800gtx's got 0 FPS gain also

That's what I'm thinking. I think I'm just gonna lay up with a p35-ds3l and a single 8800gt... and wait for g100 and Socket 1366 to come out.

I guess theres a patch or something? because it both Veedub and Nosboost both have said that Crysis SLi Compatibility is absolute garbage (this is not a direct quote btw)

where are you finding the 169.28 drivers, and yes i have the patch. Matter of fact, the 169.25 drivers in vista wont even let me boot. I get a bsod using them. I thought it was due to the 4x1gb of memory, but i was running all 4 sticks just fine until i updated to 169.25 and thats when i started getting bsod's.
