We've been waiting for Hulu Plus support on Xbox 360 since it was officially announced last June. Confirming what was rumored earlier this week, Microsoft revealed today that Hulu Plus is coming to Xbox Live tomorrow, April 29. The premium version of Hulu features far more content than the free version in addition to HD video support, limited advertising, and access on non-computer platforms.
Should you be unsure if you want to jump in and begin paying $7.99 per month, a sponsorship from Jack Link's Beef Jerky will open up the service to all Xbox Live members (both Gold and non-Gold members) from April 29 through next Friday, May 6. After that, you'll have to begin paying to continue accessing Hulu's collection of movies and TV shows which includes the likes of The Office, Lost, 30 Rock, Saturday Night Live, and The X-Files.
PlayStation 3 users have had access to the service since last year. Initially a PlayStation Plus subscription was required, though that was later dropped after an invitation-only period. Existing Hulu Plus subscribers received a $2 credit earlier this week to make up for the lost PS3 access during the ongoing PlayStation Network downtime.
