Default GPU-Z Utility Updated to v0.5.2

The graphics gurus over at TechPowerUp released an updated version of their GPU-Z utility today, version 0.5.2. GPU-Z, if you've never used it before, is similar to the popular CPU-Z utility, except it's for videocards. It offers up all kinds of vitals about your graphics hardware, everything from the BIOS revision to various clockspeeds. It's a handy piece of software to ensure your overclocking efforts and/or motherboard settings aren't wreaking havoc with your GPU, and the latest version adds a handful of key upgrades.

New to version 0.5.2 is support for Nvidia GT 440, GTX 550, GTX 560, GTX 570, and GTX 590 videocards, as well as support for AMD's HD dual-GPU HD 6990 card. And for you early Sandy Bridge adopters, the latest build is able to detect Sandy Bridge IGPs.

Other feature enhancements include fixed ROP count on ATI Madison, improved OpenCL detection for ATI, support for the CHL8228 voltage controller for Cayman Pro and XT cards, improved driver based voltage monitoring for ATI/AMD cards, and several crash and stability fixes.

You can download GPU-Z here.
