Have you tried using Nightly Tester Tools and forcing compatibility?

4P heavy, coming in.

Notes: Running over 2 dozen background tasks (Toolbar, Firewall, Anti-Virus, PU-Blockers, etc.) and Defragmenting HD, about 200k of Memory remaining, over 150 Tabs open (with deep History).

Note the RP Downloader Bar is poped up and the CPU Usage is about 85%; and that is on an old Computer - you should be able to do better.

Saving and compressing the PNG Crashed the Browser, took 5 minutes to get back (with three mouse clicks).

That is as big as the Picture gets, the Editor's "image resize" is broken. The Video is "Believe".

grrr even tried to force the rp downloader to work by editing the version numbers in the following files:

C:\ProgramData\Real\RealPlayer\BrowserRecordPlugin \Firefox\Ext\install.rdf

and

C:\ProgramData\Real\RealPlayer\BrowserRecordPlugin \Firefox\Ext\Chrome\Content\browserrecordloader.js

and changed all 4.0 version referances to 5.0 and no luck....

I even repacked all those folders as an xpi file and then tried to get FF to install xpi from file and all it did was screw up my right click menu

they must have did something to it....

and the nightly tool never worked ether...

You should be able to simply run the Installer without any 'tricks' and everything should work. I made no mods.

Try using the Control Panel to un-install Aurora (or Nightly) and RealPlayer, then re-install FF first and then RP (make sure RP finds FF and the RP Downloader will work - WITH the "Add-on Compatibility Reporter" Plug-in installed in FF).

8 in Aurora and 9 in nightly. With Mozilla looking to hide version numbers overall so people stop worrying about which number they have and just go with the browser.

Yeah, I've been using nightly since Firefox 5. I haven't had any problems at all with it either.

My work installation upgraded to 7 yesterday or the day before. My home installation probably moved to 9 but I haven't checked.
