Quick-Details: VERY early Benchmarks show the The A8-3500M (yet to be shown on the HP Site) is more than two or three times faster than the E-350. The overall performance is almost as good as the i3 except where graphics intensive processing are concerned, there it beats the i7.

The Notebooks are available with "SUSE Linux Enterprise 11" (and FreeDOS or any Win7 version) pre-installed.

Broadcom Chipsets work under Linux, how is it "bad for Linux users"?

Broadcom are the worst chips for linux. Maybe they got better these days, but I always frowned upon them. Atheros and Intel wireless chips rule.

I'm not too sure about HP devices, I remember Realtek was pretty good, Ralink was a miss or hit, Atheros is king.

Just thought that I would drop in and tell you all that I work for HP and this isn't the greatest thing out there....yeah specs look pretty decent, but its all in the system itself.....now I am using an old HP dc7700 SFF and it works like a charm....but I would never buy this thing....**** I wouldn't even use it if work gave it to me....there are WAY better ones on the site
