Hey, I am a fanboy for AMD, but I wasn't exactly holding my breath, when you spend development and stretch it out and keep delaying it over years and years, well, the tech just isn't worth it.

Sad to say but AMD has lost this round badly, I was hoping this might drop some midrange core i sandy bridges around some..oh no! I guess wrong about these FX series, if AMD keeps this up I won't even dare look at there 8 core in january when I start to rebuild my computer from scratch again. >:E

So, the 8-core is a flop.

Anyone see potential for the 4 and 6 core variations?

For some reason I don't have hopes for the 4 and 6 core versions.
