Hello everyone, as the title says, Found my playstation 1 laying around in the attic and I suddenly have the urge to play some games on it, but however Im not sure which display cable should I get for it, I have a Samsung 40 led smart tv and I think according to this suggestion I need to get the composite cables? Can anybody help me? Thanks

Component cables were compatible with the PS2 and PS3 only, so your only real options are Composite, UHF, or maybe S-Video (I forget if the PS1 supported S-Video, or not. The PS2 and PS3 did though...)
Though, if you're going to be playing PSX games on a flatscreen, you'd be better off using a PS2/PS3 over HDMI, as you'll get the best image quality for it. (Also, there are HDMI adapters for PS2 you can find on Ebay and such...)
But if you don't care about visual clarity and the like, then by all means.

You have to find a conversion from composite to HDMI if your TV doesn't have composite inputs.
